April 2026: Data Ingestion Enhancement via RDS Logical Replication delivered in ministryofjustice/cloud-platform-environments. Implemented RDS configuration and tuned PostgreSQL parameters to enable logical replication, improving data ingestion reliability and throughput for the CSIP system in production. Work tracked under DHS-49 with commit 9aaa63832e8992d6aacf115df32899882fccc10f. No major bugs fixed in this period for this repository. Impact: strengthened data ingestion pipeline for CSIP, enabling faster and more reliable data availability and better data consistency. Technologies/skills demonstrated: RDS PostgreSQL replication, PostgreSQL parameter tuning, production readiness, change management, and documentation.

Delivered targeted IAM and governance enhancements in the ministryofjustice/modernisation-platform to enable automated reporting workflows while strengthening data access controls. Implemented and reviewed CircleCI permissions for the reporting environment, enabling actions across reporting and data management, including resource tagging, policy tagging, and Lake Formation permission revocation to manage data access effectively. The work reduces manual overhead, improves compliance with data governance policies, and accelerates the CI/CD workflow for reporting pipelines.
