Worked on the mib1185/homeassistant-core repository to improve the robustness of the Ollama integration, focusing on backend reliability and accurate argument parsing. Addressed a bug where falsey values such as 0 and False were incorrectly dropped during API integration, which previously led to unintended behavior and loss of valid inputs. The solution involved careful backend development in Python, ensuring that all legitimate arguments are preserved across edge cases. Comprehensive unit testing was applied to validate the fix, and clear documentation was provided to support future maintenance. This work enhanced the reliability and maintainability of the Ollama workflow within Home Assistant.
