During April 2025, work focused on enhancing the Amsterdam/meldingen-frontend repository by developing a streamlined Docker image build and push workflow. This was achieved through the creation of a Makefile that parameterizes key variables such as registry, version, UID, and GID, enabling flexible and consistent image management. The Makefile introduced dedicated targets for help, build, and push, simplifying both local development and CI processes. By integrating with docker-compose, the workflow reduced manual intervention and improved deployment repeatability. The project leveraged skills in build automation, DevOps, and Docker, with Makefile as the primary language for orchestrating these improvements.
