Worked on enhancing cloud infrastructure for multiple services, focusing on ECS autoscaling, resilience, and performance testing readiness across repositories such as companieshouse/acsp-api and companieshouse/acsp-web. Used Terraform to standardize autoscaling configurations, optimize resource allocation, and align CPU and memory settings, improving deployment reliability and resource utilization. Updated staging environments to support performance testing by tuning memory and autoscaling parameters, and removed deprecated components to simplify deployment topologies. Applied Infrastructure as Code principles to maintain consistency and readability, including variable formatting improvements. The work enabled smoother deployments, faster release cycles, and better scalability using AWS, ECS, and Terraform.
