Worked on the dotnet/vscode-csharp repository to enhance dependency management and documentation practices, focusing on the XamlTools toolchain. Over two months, delivered a series of XamlTools dependency upgrades, ensuring each version bump was accompanied by synchronized changelog updates in Markdown. This approach maintained traceability and reduced compatibility risks for downstream consumers. Prioritized stability and maintainability by keeping dependencies current and documentation accurate, rather than addressing explicit bug fixes. The work leveraged skills in dependency hygiene and release engineering, supporting a stable C# and XAML development experience in Visual Studio Code through careful tooling maintenance and clear communication of changes.
