During January 2026, Lenkovlen developed a deployment enhancement for the MystenLabs/walrus-sites repository, focusing on improving cost transparency for users. They implemented a feature that extends the deploy --dry-run command to provide detailed cost estimates for both Walrus storage and SUI gas, allowing users to assess financial implications before executing transactions. This work leveraged Rust for backend development and asynchronous programming to ensure responsive API interactions. By surfacing granular cost data within the deployment workflow, Lenkovlen enabled better budgeting and risk assessment for users. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with attention centered on feature depth and user decision support.
