
Worked on the gravitational/teleport repository to deliver new instrumentation and observability features focused on beam analytics and virtual machine lifecycle tracking. Developed backend components in Go, leveraging gRPC and protobuf to introduce event telemetry and evolve metadata schemas. The work enabled tracking of beam session starts within usage events and added new event types for monitoring the creation and destruction of beam virtual machines. These enhancements provided richer analytics and improved operational visibility, supporting data-driven insights for capacity planning and user behavior analysis. All changes demonstrated strong commit-level traceability and contributed to the product’s ability to support advanced analytics workflows.
