Later, addressed device-level error reporting for XPU fallbacks by refining device comparison logic to include full device identity, aligning error semantics with CUDA and improving multi-device reliability. Updated tests to ensure consistent error messages and broader coverage, reducing false positives and enabling previously skipped validations across CPU and XPU paths.
