Worked on stabilizing password management flows in the mmoayyed/cas repository by addressing a critical issue in the Password Reset REST endpoint. Focused on backend development using Java and Spring Boot, the work involved correcting the Content-Type header handling to ensure all password reset REST calls consistently use application/json. This targeted bug fix improved the reliability of password management by reducing errors related to incorrect HTTP headers and enhanced developer confidence in the API’s behavior. No new features were introduced during this period, with efforts concentrated on refining REST API interactions and strengthening the overall robustness of the authentication system.
