Worked on improving build stability and maintainability for the meilisearch/meilisearch-java repository, focusing on build configuration and dependency management using Gradle. Addressed issues with dependency resolution by pinning OKHTTP to version 4.12.0, ensuring consistent API compatibility and reducing the risk of build failures. Simplified the build process by removing non-functional prerelease version rejection logic from the Gradle scripts, which streamlined configuration and improved future upgrade paths. The work emphasized deterministic dependency resolution and maintainable build scripts, leveraging skills in Gradle and dependency management to enhance the reliability and clarity of the Java client’s build system over the month.
