Worked on enhancing the jellyfin-web repository by delivering a unified, consistent smooth scrolling experience across the web client. The approach involved replacing reliance on the native scrollTo method with a custom JavaScript implementation, ensuring uniform behavior regardless of browser differences. Additionally, performed code maintenance by removing the unused supportsSmoothScroll variable, which improved overall maintainability and readability. This work focused on front end development, aligning with user experience goals and setting the stage for future performance optimizations. The changes addressed both user interface consistency and long-term code health, utilizing JavaScript and modern front end practices to support ongoing project evolution.
