During February 2026, work on the navapbc/template-infra repository focused on enhancing secure data access and modular infrastructure. Using Terraform and HCL, the developer implemented secure S3 access for selective AWS service principals by introducing a dedicated KMS key policy and configurable access controls within the storage module. They also delivered a Document Data Extraction module leveraging AWS Bedrock Data Automation, which included custom blueprint support, IAM policies, and KMS-backed storage for encrypted data workflows. Security and compliance were addressed through Checkov policy integration and encryption requirements, resulting in improved modularity and streamlined onboarding for applications requiring secure data flows.
