Worked on platform stability and library lifecycle management across google/android-cuttlefish and androidx/androidx repositories. Upgraded protobuf usage to version 3 in google/android-cuttlefish, streamlining the Android build by removing deprecated dependencies and simplifying build configuration, which improved compatibility and reduced maintenance complexity. In androidx/androidx, managed the end-of-life process for the credentials-e2ee library by providing deprecation guidance, updating release notes, and implementing tests to verify the deprecation path. Leveraged Kotlin, Rust, and expertise in API design, build systems, and library management to deliver clear migration strategies and enhance developer productivity while minimizing risk for downstream teams and clients.
