Worked on the ipfs/kubo repository to deliver a targeted update that clarified the migration path from Reprovider fields to Provide fields. Focused on backend development using Go, the work involved updating deprecation messaging to provide explicit guidance on required configuration changes for users. This change aimed to reduce confusion during the transition to the new Provide fields, supporting a smoother migration process. The implementation was completed through two commits, including a cherry-picked update to ensure consistency across branches. The contribution demonstrated attention to user experience and clear communication, addressing a specific need in the configuration workflow without introducing new bug fixes.
