Worked on enhancing metadata documentation hygiene for the Esri/arcgis-maps-sdk-samples-qt repository by updating the README.metadata.json file to reflect recent project changes. Focused on improving maintainability and ensuring compatibility with downstream tooling, the update centralized and clarified metadata, making it easier for new contributors to onboard and for existing documentation standards to be upheld. Utilized JSON for metadata management and applied version control best practices to maintain a clear, auditable change history. The work addressed the need for accurate, up-to-date documentation, supporting sample discoverability and aligning the repository’s metadata with evolving project requirements and contributor workflows.
