Worked on the mavlink/qgroundcontrol repository to address build system reliability for Arch-based Linux distributions. Focused on improving GStreamer detection by enhancing the CMake configuration, specifically adding a check for the gstreamer-1.0 subdirectory within the library path. This adjustment prevented mis-detection of GStreamer installations, reducing build failures and continuous integration issues across various Arch-based environments. The work centered on build system stability and cross-distribution compatibility, aligning with Arch packaging conventions. Utilized skills in CMake and build system management, contributing a targeted bug fix that improved the robustness of GStreamer-related tooling without introducing new features during the development period.
