Worked on the ministryofjustice/cloud-platform-environments repository to deliver two core features supporting probation management and training initiatives. Built prototype Kubernetes environment provisioning and a dedicated training environment by establishing isolated namespaces, configuring RBAC role bindings, resource quotas, and network policies to enhance security and governance. Leveraged Terraform and YAML to define infrastructure as code, enabling repeatable and auditable deployments. Integrated AWS ECR credentials and service accounts to streamline container workflows. The technical approach focused on reducing onboarding time and risk by providing secure, isolated environments for prototyping and training, while maintaining clear separation from production workloads and improving operational efficiency.
May 2026 monthly summary for ministryofjustice/cloud-platform-environments focusing on feature delivery and governance improvements. Delivered Probation Training Environment Setup by introducing a dedicated namespace and Kubernetes resources to manage probation training workloads, including RBAC role bindings, resource quotas, and network policies. This work adds isolation, security, and resource governance for training environments while reducing risk to production clusters.
