During October 2025, contributed to the firebase/quickstart-ios repository by developing a Notification Service Extension for the MessagingExampleSwift project, enabling image handling in push notifications. The work involved implementing a new NotificationService class in Swift, integrating it with the AppDelegate, and updating project configurations to support seamless end-to-end notification processing. Additionally, enabled Firebase Cloud Messaging BigQuery export to provide enhanced delivery metrics and analytics capabilities. The project leveraged skills in iOS development, app extensions, and XML configuration, resulting in improved notification functionality and telemetry. No bugs were addressed during this period, with the focus placed on feature development and integration.
