Worked on the marathon-quiz-game repository to deliver category support for quiz questions, enhancing the platform’s ability to organize and report on quizzes by category. Updated the data model and persistence layer using C and C++ to introduce a category attribute for each question, ensuring that category information is stored and retrievable through file I/O operations. This feature enables category-based quizzes and analytics, supporting improved content organization and reporting capabilities. The implementation lays the foundation for future enhancements such as targeted lessons and leaderboards, demonstrating a focus on scalable data structures and maintainable code within the project’s existing technical framework.
