Developed and delivered TP-Link F65 WiFi 6 access point support for the DragonBluep/openwrt repository, focusing on expanding device compatibility and streamlining deployment processes. The work involved detailed hardware mapping, installation guidance, and implementation of an end-to-end deployment workflow using UART access, U-Boot, tftp-based flashing, and sysupgrade. Leveraging expertise in Linux kernel development, embedded systems, and firmware development with C and Makefile, the developer enhanced support for MT7981B/MT7976-based devices. Comprehensive documentation and clear commit trails were maintained to facilitate onboarding and future maintenance, ultimately broadening OpenWrt’s device coverage and accelerating deployment readiness for enterprise and SMB environments.
