Worked on the mozilla/bigquery-etl repository to deliver a dataset metadata configuration for Remote Settings CDN logs aggregates, focusing on improving data governance and discoverability. Designed and implemented metadata modeling using YAML, establishing friendly names, descriptions, and access controls for datasets across production and non-production environments. Leveraged BigQuery and data engineering skills to enable environment-specific naming conventions, supporting safe deployments and clear separation of data. Developed admin views and workgroup access to enhance governance and readiness for analytics pipelines. The work emphasized Git-based traceability, ensuring auditability and maintainability of configuration changes, and addressed organizational needs for controlled data access.
