January 2025 – Key accomplishments: - Implemented initial FOG Migration mirroring configuration from Bugzilla to Jira for bugs tagged [fog-migration], including the setup for creating/updating Jira issues and a dedicated 'FOG Migration' component, plus status/resolution mappings to align Jira with internal states. - Enabled creation/updating of Jira issues in the migration flow and implemented status handling mappings to ensure Jira reflects the correct internal progress. - Introduced a custom JIRA component for FOG migration mirroring to improve traceability and ownership across teams. - Simplified production configuration by removing the optional resolution mapping and the maybe_update_issue_resolution step, since the DENG system does not set a resolution field. - Achieved improved cross-system visibility and reduced manual reconciliation for downstream teams through the integrated Jira-Bugzilla migration workflow.
