Developed and delivered Dagster Readiness Probe Support for the Vandebron/gh-mpyl repository, introducing configurable readiness checks to enhance deployment health monitoring and startup reliability. The work involved adding a readiness_probe_script field to the Dagster class, implementing config parsing for readiness probes, and extending deployment configuration with customizable script paths, intervals, and thresholds. By updating the project schema to support a readinessProbeScript option, the solution enables earlier detection of deployment issues and reduces operational risk. This feature was implemented using Python and YAML, demonstrating skills in backend development, DevOps, Kubernetes integration, and schema definition within a production deployment workflow.
