Worked on the scroll-tech/scroll-proving-sdk repository to enhance stability and future development by upgrading core dependencies, specifically alloy and revm, using Rust and Cargo for precise dependency management. The approach involved aligning the SDK with upstream protocol changes and bug fixes, including the application of a targeted upstream fix to resolve integration issues and stabilize the dependency surface. This work improved compatibility with the latest features and maintained the integrity of foundational components. By consolidating these upgrades and rigorously validating changes, the developer strengthened release discipline and reduced technical debt, ensuring the SDK remains maintainable and adaptable for ongoing development needs.
