Over a three-month period, contributed to scroll-tech/scroll-documentation and scroll-tech/scroll-proving-sdk by delivering features that improved deployment flexibility, developer onboarding, and backend reliability. Work included adding an AWS S3 endpoints configuration flag for Scroll nodes, enabling operators to specify alternative blob storage endpoints, and integrating this with geth node configuration. In the proving SDK, implemented batch task orchestration, local prover configurability, and stability enhancements for scalable, deterministic processing. Used Rust, YAML, and JSON for backend development, configuration management, and documentation updates. Addressed bugs related to deserialization and configuration, ensuring robust workflows and maintainable code across both documentation and SDK repositories.
July 2025 highlights for scroll-tech/scroll-documentation: Delivered a new AWS S3 endpoints configuration flag for the Scroll node to specify alternative endpoints for blob data storage, enabling operators to configure endpoints for mainnet and Sepolia. The change is integrated with the geth node configuration flow and accompanied by updated documentation. No major bugs fixed this month; the focus was on feature delivery and documentation. Impact includes greater deployment flexibility, improved resilience, and streamlined testing with alternate storage endpoints.
