Worked on the giftee/design-system repository, focusing on front end stability and UI consistency through targeted CSS improvements. Addressed two critical bugs by refining modal positioning and correcting the z-index stacking of the Stepper component, ensuring smoother user interactions and maintaining visual hierarchy across applications. Applied CSS debugging techniques to resolve a modal regression, using position: fixed to prevent unwanted jumps, and adjusted component layering for reliable usability. All changes were scoped, reviewed, and documented to support cross-team understanding. Demonstrated proficiency in CSS and front end development, prioritizing maintainability and user experience without introducing new features during the period.
