During September 2025, Lingyun Guo developed and integrated Publish job type support into the Edge Configuration Manager API within the mikeharder/azure-rest-api-specs repository. This work involved extending the API schema using TypeScript and OpenAPI specifications to introduce new parameters and statistics for publish operations, enabling automated publish workflows and supporting future telemetry needs. Lingyun focused on careful version-controlled change management to ensure compatibility and facilitate future enhancements. The implementation addressed business requirements for automation readiness and API extensibility, demonstrating proficiency in API development and schema definition while laying a robust foundation for ongoing improvements in configuration management workflows.
