Focused on updating the wl-kmod package by synchronizing it with rpmfusion patches to ensure reliable builds on newer Linux kernels. Deprecated patches, such as the wext patch, were removed to streamline the build process and reduce future maintenance risks. The approach emphasized simplifying patch management and maintaining driver functionality across kernel updates. Leveraged C programming, Linux driver development, and kernel development skills to deliver a robust solution that hardens the build process and supports ongoing compatibility with evolving kernel series in the Linux ecosystem.
