Long Nguyen enhanced the cloudfoundry/bosh-aws-cpi-release repository by adding support for the G6 NVMe instance family, enabling the platform to recognize and utilize new AWS EC2 types with NVMe-backed storage. He accomplished this by updating the NVME_INSTANCE_FAMILIES constant in Ruby, ensuring that provisioning processes could leverage the improved speed and performance of these instances. Drawing on his expertise in AWS, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps, Long delivered a focused, single-commit change that expanded the release’s instance coverage. This work addressed evolving customer needs for high-performance storage options, demonstrating depth in cloud platform integration and infrastructure automation.
