During June 2025, Mason London enhanced the hasadna/open-bus-map-search repository by developing the BusToolTip feature, focusing on improving documentation access and localization within the application. He implemented a manual button in the tooltip that links directly to the GTFS specifications PDF, streamlining the process for users and developers to reference documentation without leaving the interface. Using React, TypeScript, and SCSS, Mason adjusted the tooltip’s height and aligned the JSON display direction with the user’s language, improving multilingual usability. This work addressed accessibility and context-switching challenges, resulting in a more seamless developer and user experience, though no bugs were fixed.
