During July 2025, Tzahi focused on enhancing the accuracy of analytics in the hasadna/open-bus-map-search repository. He addressed a bug in the gaps-based analytics by ensuring that only past and present rides, rather than future ones, contributed to statistical calculations. This required refactoring the gaps metric computation logic using React and TypeScript, with careful attention to data filtering and state management. By cleaning up and documenting the code, Tzahi improved the maintainability and extensibility of the solution. The result was more reliable historical analytics and dashboards, providing stakeholders with trustworthy insights for planning and capacity decisions in frontend applications.
