Over a two-month period, contributed to access control enhancements across the harness-go-sdk and harness/terraform-provider-harness repositories. Developed scope-level role management by introducing RoleReference support in RoleAssignment, enabling fine-grained authorization and reducing the risk of over-privileged access. Leveraged Go for backend development and API design, ensuring changes were traceable and aligned with governance requirements. In Terraform provider work, added a role_reference field to role_assignments, allowing roles to be referenced from higher scopes for more flexible access control. Maintained and updated documentation in Markdown, supporting user onboarding and compatibility through dependency updates and clear technical guidance.
April 2026 monthly summary for harness/terraform-provider-harness focused on delivering enhanced role-based access control capabilities and reinforcing code quality through documentation and dependency maintenance.
