Focused on backend development and data engineering using Rust, the solution involved implementing an idempotent mechanism to republish the last block in the fuel-streams-publisher. This approach ensured that, even after abrupt shutdowns, no transactions or receipts would be missed, thereby maintaining consistency for downstream analytics and aligning with operational SLAs. The work strengthened the distributed system’s resilience by eliminating data gaps during catch-up, directly improving auditability and the overall robustness of the data pipeline infrastructure.
