Developed and delivered standardized issue templates for bug reports and feature requests in the equinor/flyt repository, focusing on improving the clarity and efficiency of issue submissions. Leveraging YAML and GitHub Actions, the work introduced structured forms that guide contributors through the reporting process, reducing ambiguity and enabling faster triage by maintainers. The implementation aligned with open-source best practices, supporting better repository maintenance and smoother onboarding for new contributors. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the contribution enhanced the overall issue management workflow, ensuring that actionable and well-defined work items are consistently captured for future development cycles.
