Worked on the jellyfin/jellyfin-web repository to implement Brazilian Portuguese localization, enhancing accessibility for Portuguese-speaking users. Focused on translating core user interface strings using the Weblate platform, the contribution streamlined the internationalization workflow and expanded the application's reach. Leveraged front end development skills with technologies such as JavaScript and React, while managing translations in JSON format. The work involved setting up and utilizing a Weblate-driven process for ongoing localization efforts, ensuring maintainability and scalability for future language support. No bug fixes were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development to improve user experience for PT-BR audiences.
