Developed and delivered the Autonomous Iterative Experimentation Skill for Code Optimization in the github/awesome-copilot repository, enabling users to define optimization goals and metrics while automating code modification, experimentation, and evaluation in an autonomous loop inspired by autoresearch methodologies. Leveraging skills in automated experimentation, autonomous coding, and iterative optimization, the work focused on reducing manual iteration time and improving code performance. The implementation included enhancements to pull request discovery logic and comprehensive updates to documentation in Markdown and YAML, streamlining onboarding for engineers and supporting seamless integration of autonomous optimization workflows within the repository’s existing development processes.
