Developed and delivered the Detachable Windows feature for the LMMS/lmms repository, enabling users to separate windows from the main interface to facilitate multi-screen workflows. This enhancement was implemented using C++ and the Qt Framework, focusing on GUI development to provide customizable behavior through the application’s settings. The solution addressed window management challenges for power users working with complex, multi-monitor setups, improving productivity and user experience. The work was tracked in a well-documented commit that demonstrated effective collaboration with other contributors and closed a longstanding issue. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on this feature’s design and integration.
