Worked on the janhq/cortex.cpp repository to enhance API reliability and streamline backend processes using C++ and CI/CD practices. Focused on correcting the engine unload API method to align with RESTful standards by switching from POST to DELETE, which reduced the risk of client misuse and improved unload semantics. Addressed stability in the continuous integration pipeline by disabling unit tests affected by the removal of the HuggingFace model dependency, ensuring reliable builds during transitions. Implemented a prefix-based mechanism to selectively disable flaky tests, which accelerated feedback cycles and maintained test suite integrity during ongoing dependency changes and backend development.
