Worked on the NixOS/nixpkgs repository to improve the NetBSD sys-headers package, focusing on build systems and system packaging using Nix. Addressed a critical bug by removing dangling symlinks, ensuring the correct installation of soundcard.h, and properly including the libossaudio library path. This technical approach strengthened the integrity of system headers and enhanced cross-platform build reliability, particularly for NetBSD targets. The work reduced potential build-time failures by resolving header path issues and improving install-time correctness. Through careful attention to packaging details, contributed to more robust and reliable builds within the nixpkgs ecosystem, emphasizing maintainability and cross-platform compatibility.
