Worked on stabilizing Notepad++ configuration handling within the ScoopInstaller/Extras repository by addressing a persistent issue with miscreated configuration folders. Focused on configuration management and scripting, the developer implemented a fix that initializes configuration files correctly, preventing the creation of incorrect folders during setup. For users already affected by the issue, a targeted workaround was introduced to enable quick recovery without manual intervention. The solution, developed using JSON and scripting techniques, improved the reliability of Notepad++ integration and reduced user-reported problems related to configuration persistence. This work contributed to a smoother user experience and decreased support requests for configuration issues.
