Over four months, contributed to the ROCm/TheRock repository by building and enhancing CI/CD test automation infrastructure. Developed automated nightly TSAN builds to improve concurrency issue detection and reliability in continuous integration. Expanded test coverage for rocsolver by enabling full, unfiltered test execution, supporting earlier defect detection and more robust regression testing. Standardized and upgraded test execution for hipblas and hipBLASLT, routing tests through generic runners, packaging binaries, and updating directory mappings for better maintainability and traceability. Leveraged Python, YAML, and TOML to orchestrate workflows, automate validation, and align test categorization, supporting modernization and increased visibility within the CI pipeline.
June 2026 (ROCm/TheRock): CI/CD Test Infrastructure Upgrade for hipBLASLT. Migrated to a new test runner script, included necessary binary artifacts, and registered hipBLASLT in the component directory mapping to enable proper test execution and improved test categorization within the CI/CD pipeline. Updated test_categories.yaml to include the 'full' label for hipBLASLT test categorization, enabling more granular reporting and faster feedback loops. Commit reference 02e455849d8e8584318ce3ed76ecf7912670fbf8 documents the changes and aligns with JIRA IDs AIHPBLAS-1442 and ROCM-20735. This work enhances CI reliability, traceability, and test visibility, supporting ROCm CI modernization goals.

May 2026 monthly wrap-up for ROCm/TheRock: Implemented CI/test infrastructure enablement for hipblas tests by routing the hipblas test job through TheRock's generic test runner and packaging the test binaries under the BLAS artifact. No changes to hipblas library/runtime. This work standardizes test execution, improves maintainability, and accelerates feedback for validation. Validation shows Linux CI passes with the new wiring; Windows path encountered upstream pre-check that will require a separate rerun.

April 2026 — ROCm/TheRock: Delivered robust testing coverage for rocsolver as part of the test-shift-left initiative. By enabling full test execution (no gtest filters) for test_type=full, we significantly increased test suite coverage, improved regression detection, and strengthened CI reliability. No major user-facing bugs were fixed this month. Impact: higher release confidence, reduced post-release risk, and better maintainability of tests. Skills demonstrated: test automation scripting, Python-based test orchestration, C++/GTest, and contributions to CI pipelines.
