During March 2025, Madzinah enhanced the YOURLS/YOURLS repository by delivering accessibility improvements to the login page. She focused on aligning the login experience with WCAG standards, implementing ARIA attributes and semantic HTML to improve usability for assistive technologies. Her work included refining CSS for better layout control and updating PHP backend functions to surface accessibility attributes on form elements and page titles. Using her expertise in accessibility, CSS, and PHP, Madzinah addressed the needs of users relying on assistive tech. The scope was focused, with one feature delivered and no bugs fixed, reflecting a targeted and in-depth engineering effort.
