During November 2024, contributed to the SuperGoodSoft/solidus repository with a focus on backend development and testing using Ruby on Rails and HTML. Addressed a bug affecting the accuracy of currency formatting on the Admin Orders index by updating the code to utilize order.display_total, ensuring that monetary values are displayed correctly for all supported currencies. Introduced a dedicated regression test to verify proper EUR formatting, which helps prevent future issues and supports reliable financial reporting. This work improved the integrity and consistency of admin financial data, reducing the risk of misreported totals and minimizing potential support inquiries related to currency display.
