During May 2025, Mahtab Zaman enhanced the Khan/perseus repository by extending the widget visibility toggle to include widgets nested within hints in the Exercise Editor. This work focused on improving the editor’s user experience by ensuring consistent open and close behavior for all widgets, regardless of their location. Mahtab implemented the feature using React and TypeScript, emphasizing robust front-end development and UI state management. The solution addressed edge-case visibility issues, making content authoring more reliable for users. Although no major bugs were fixed during this period, the feature demonstrated careful attention to component behavior and end-to-end user interaction.
