Worked on the intel/cve-bin-tool repository to deliver a unified and explicitly typed LOGGER implementation across both the engine and test components. This effort focused on improving logging consistency, maintainability, and observability throughout the codebase. By introducing explicit typing for the LOGGER variable and standardizing its usage, the changes enhanced debugging effectiveness and enabled more reliable monitoring. The work was implemented using Python, leveraging backend development skills and a strong emphasis on logging best practices. No bugs were addressed during this period, with the primary contribution centered on feature development to streamline and strengthen the project’s logging infrastructure for future scalability.
