During May 2025, contributed a major reliability upgrade to the SEMOSS/Semoss repository by developing a comprehensive unit test suite for the prerna.ds.util package. Focused on backend development and data structures, the work involved implementing 587 unit tests in Java to cover flatfile operations, query structure conversion, and RDBMS query building. This approach enhanced quality assurance and increased test coverage for critical database utilities, enabling earlier detection of issues and safer code changes. The improvements strengthened the robustness of file handling and core data utilities, supporting more reliable development workflows and reducing the risk of regressions across the project’s backend components.
