Worked on the google/go-github repository to enhance code quality and maintainability by enabling the unparam linter, which detects unused function parameters throughout the codebase. This initiative aimed to reduce the risk of dead-parameter bugs and simplify future refactoring efforts. Additionally, contributed new tests to ensure that unused *Response results are properly handled, thereby increasing the robustness of the backend and minimizing the potential for regressions. The work was implemented using Go, with a focus on backend development and testing practices, and aligned with continuous integration standards to help maintain a cleaner, more reliable codebase for ongoing development.
