Worked on the openwrt/packages repository to address a critical issue in the firmware build process, focusing on build system stability and package management. Delivered a targeted bug fix that resolved failures caused by a missing aria2-openssl dependency, ensuring that firmware compilation no longer encountered installation errors. Utilized Makefile to update the package release and implement robust dependency handling, which reduced manual intervention in continuous integration workflows. This work stabilized the build environment by preventing regressions related to package dependencies and maintained the integrity of the release pipeline, demonstrating a methodical approach to maintaining and validating complex build systems in open source projects.
