Worked on CMSgov/dpc-app to deliver a unified multi-CSP authentication system, enabling both ID.me and Login.gov as credential providers. Centralized user model logic and introduced new query methods to streamline authentication flows, while enhancing email management during registration. Developed a CspSession abstraction to manage concurrent authentication sessions, reducing race conditions and improving reliability. Improved user feedback by adding an alert component for email mismatches and made database seeding idempotent for stable initial data. Focused on robust test coverage and CI stability, leveraging Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and RSpec to ensure resilient authentication and registration processes across evolving system requirements.
July 2026: Key CSP session management enhancements and registration reliability work in CMSgov/dpc-app, delivering a more resilient authentication flow, clearer user feedback, and more stable initial data seeding. Highlights include a new CSP session abstraction to manage concurrent CSP auth sessions, an email mismatch alert in the registration flow, idempotent database seeding, and targeted CI/test stability improvements.

June 2026: Delivered the Unified Multi-CSP Authentication System in CMSgov/dpc-app, enabling ID.me alongside Login.gov as an additional Credential Service Provider (CSP). Updated authentication flow, registration logic, and tests to support multi-CSP configurations; centralized user model logic and improved email management during registration. Refreshed data models and aligned related components across the authentication flow (InvitationController and LoginDotGovController) to support cross-store CSP configurations.
