During January 2025, work centered on expanding the kippian-wiki repository’s accessibility by implementing Lithuanian localization support. This involved creating a new locale file in TypeScript and integrating it into the existing internationalization workflow, allowing the user interface to display in Lithuanian. The approach emphasized maintainability by streamlining the translation index and ensuring future localization efforts would be more efficient. The integration was committed with traceability in mind, supporting code quality standards. By focusing on front-end development, internationalization, and localization, the work enabled broader user reach and positioned the project for adoption by Lithuanian-speaking audiences without introducing new bugs.
